Bio
Laura Kee is a singer/songwriter from Athens, AL. She writes songs that are very personal, yet relatable. Her sound is both soothing and enjoyable. She has a soulful voice that has been compared to Norah Jones, Sara Bareilles, Bonnie Bishop, and Pattie Griffin. In addition to her original music, she also enjoys performing a wide variety of cover songs from many different genres.
Laura has always had a deep love of music and has been singing since she first learned to speak. She was in choral groups in high school and college, and she has performed in several musical theater productions. What she enjoys most is singing - "anything, anytime, anywhere, whether people are listening or not." She has been known to break out in song in grocery stores, parking lots, and even in her middle school history class.
